Green Deal Measures
The energy efficiency measures available at the launch of Green Deal are defined in Annex A of the Green Deal Consultation.
The list includes a spectrum of technologies aimed at energy conservation and energy generation. Energy efficiency measures with the greatest energy saving effect in relation to their cost are most likely to meet the golden rule. Measures that do not necessarily meet the golden rule can still be installed as they may be subsidised by ECO and Affordable Warmth. Customers may also elect to put initial cash into a Green Deal to ensure the golden rule is met.
The list of measures may grow in the future as technologies develop and energy prices increase. DECC are proposing that the Green Deal Oversight Body manage the process for adding measures and that this is supported by SAP Annex Q and CE Marking (for more info see the Q&A section)
