What one year’s free registration means for our contractors
North Star Electric’s Qualified Supervisor, Ian McCreadie, was happy to take Zach Swift under his wing and introduce him to the electrotechnical trade. Little did he know that Zach would be named the NICEIC and ELECSA Apprentice of the Year, winning one year’s free registration in the process.
Since the win, Ian has seen a dramatic change in Zach’s confidence and willingness to learn.
“Zach has gone from strength to strength. He has proven himself as a real asset and has been given a lot more responsibility within the company. He is a well liked individual by our customers so he’s at that stage where we can let the rope go a little bit.
It was a great accolade for our company to have the NICEIC & ELECSA Apprentice of the Year – particularly as we are the first company in Scotland to win the award"
