In addition to the benefits already enjoyed by NICEIC Domestic Installers, the DPIR Scheme will provide:

• Assurance to clients, specifiers, licensing authorities and others that the business is reputable, reliable and capable to undertake periodic inspection to assess compliance with the national safety standard
• Access to inspection work from housing associations and local authorities that will only employ contractors with recognised inspection and reporting capabilities
• An assurance to clients that the inspection work is covered by NICEIC’s Complaints Procedure and Guarantee of Standards Scheme
• Identification of recognised inspection capability in the NICEIC register of contractors, which is widely used by purchasers of inspection services.
