Candidates must be Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) qualified, or hold equivalent experience (e.g. APEL NDEA) in order to attend this training course.

A Non-Domestic Green Deal Advisor (GDA) is qualified to undertake energy calculations using the appropriate Green Deal software on non-domestic buildings in order to produce a Green Deal Advice Report (GDAR).

There is no mandatory requirement for non-domestic buildings to have a Green Deal Advice Report and Green Deal Advisors can only produce a GDAR if they are affiliated with a certified Green Deal Advice Organisation (GDAO).
