Which course is best for me? 
Full course
Our full course has been designed for electricians, contractors and those requiring a working knowledge of the latest edition of the Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations  BS 7671:2018 qualification. This course is delivered online and provides in-depth training on the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations and will include a summative 2 hour examination on the full content of the Regulations.

Update course
Our update course has been primarily designed for those people working within the electrotechnical industry who have recently completed their 17th edition Amendment 3: 2015 qualification (eg. City & Guilds 2382-15 or an equivalent).  This course is available online and provides an overview of the changes to the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. However, please note that you will still be required to undertake the full 2 hour summative assessment on the full content of the Regulations.

Includes scope, object and fundamental principles, definitions, assessment of general characteristics, protection for safety, selection and erection of equipment, inspection and testing, special installations or locations and appendices.

This course is suitable for people working in the electrotechnical industry and having completed their 17th edition Amendment 3: 2015 qualification.
Successful candidates will hold the full qualification, be able to demonstrate a much better understanding of the 18th Edition of BS7671, and should be able to apply the understanding within their role.
