NICEIC Schemes
NICEIC provides a range of technical approvals to suit the needs of contractors undertaking the installation, commissioning, maintenance and testing of electrical and related equipment.
| Approved Contractor Scheme For electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 7671. |

| Part P Domestic Installer Scheme Registering installers to Full Scope or Defined Competence for domestic electrical installation work in accordance with Part P. |

| Competent Person Schemes The Building Regs apply in England and Wales and set standards for the design and construction of buildings to ensure safety. |

| Microgeneration Certification A scheme approving work in all the renewable energy technologies. |

| Scotland Designed to enable electrical contractors to comply with and work without hindrance under the Scottish Building Regulations. |

| Jersey If you work in Jersey you are required to notify all electrical installation work |

| Hazardous Areas An extension to the scope of Approved Contractors to meet the requirements necessary in the vicinity of a hazardous area. |

| PAT A national registration scheme for enterprises conducting Portable Appliance Testing. |
