This course will provide candidates with a level of knowledge and understanding to enable them to design, install and programme a large automation system via a PC. This advanced course will be of added benefit to those that have completed the basic home automation course.

Who should attend?

Contractors that wish to diversify and grow their business into the Automation arena. The automation system will be able to control air conditioning systems, heating systems, security systems, audio and visual systems all from one platform.

This course is ideal for those that have completed the NICEIC’s basic automation course, however it is not a prerequisite to joining the course. Basic PC skills are essential.

■ PC programming explained and demonstrated

■ Student PC programming tasks undertaken

■ Multi choice exam

All programming tasks will be completed on a rig designed to give the student an understanding of the software and component capabilities within a large installation.
