Providing the information needed for design, installation and certification of fire alarms system to domestic and non domestic installations. 

What will you learn?

The learner will have an understanding of BS5839 part 1 and 6 and know how to implement them in a domestic or non domestic installation.

Who should attend?

Candidates should be familiar with electrical system design. Suitable candidates should already work within the electrical industry and have a basic understanding of the requirements of fire alarms in the UK.

Next Step

A suitable course to consider next is the Level 3 Award in the requirements for electrical installations BS7671:2008 or you may wish to complete the NICEIC Emergency Lighting design course.
