Who Should Attend?
This qualification is aimed at experienced personnel working in the electrical industry, looking to gain an understanding of the new Electrical Installation Condition Reports. The qualification is not intended for non-qualified electricians and/or those who do not have experience in inspecting, testing and certifying electrical installations. Candidates without this experience should consider gaining the Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and
Certification of Electrical Installations and/or obtain further industry experience.

Further to the training, a theory-based exam must be taken in addition to a practical assessment of the candidate’s abilities. The theory exam must be taken at a time and date set externally by the awarding body. Please ask for confirmation of these dates when you are booking your course.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a much better understanding of the inspection and testing process and gain knowledge and understanding of the new Electrical Installation Condition Report form.
Gaining this award will allow the individual to complete the Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations. A successful candidate may also choose to progress to the Level 4 Award in the Design and Verification of Electrical Installations.
