How did we calculate this figure?
The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has authorised a number of competent person schemes in schedule 3 of the Building Regulations 2010. Every 6 months, DCLG asks each Scheme Operator to provide information on their:
Total registered membership and the
Number of jobs their registered members have undertaken in the period.
Using this dataset, we compared the number of Part P members with the number of Part P notified jobs.
The combined number of notifications done by ELECSA and NICEIC contractors was then compared to the combined number of notifications completed by all the other scheme providers.
The analysis revealed that ELECSA and NICEIC registered companies notify more than 95% more work (on average) than all the rest.
This means that, on average, ELECSA and NICEIC registered contractors notify nearly DOUBLE the amount of Part P work than contractors registered with other scheme providers.
The average number of Part P jobs completed by Certsure contractors (ELECSA and NICEIC) was 31.04 over the 12 month period.
The average number of Part P jobs completed by contractors registered with all the other scheme providers combined was only 15.09 over the 12 month period.
This equates to 95% more per ELECSA and NICEIC member.
That’s the power of the ELECSA and NICEIC brands.
They help contractors win more work.
