One million reasons to get online
More than one million certificates have now been processed via NICEIC’s online certification system.
NICEIC’s online certification system is now used by more than 15 000 unique customers. More contractors are choosing to use the system each day because of the additional benefits it brings to their business.
The cloud based system means contractors do not need to install any software. There is also no expensive update costs as with other electronic certificate systems.
They can simply log in to the portal with their NICEIC details to easily fill out all forms. Jobs can also be automatically notified to Building Control using the same information on the electrical installation certificate.
“Contractors are now increasingly using a laptop, smart phone or tablet computer in their everyday work and we want to ensure they have access to the latest developments out there to make certification and notification as easy as possible,” commented NICEIC’s Head of Sales, Paul Elcock.
“Contractors have said it has transformed the way they work simply because of the convenience it offers.
“Forms can be completed either on-site or back in the office, and can be emailed or printed off for clients and personal record-keeping. It means paperwork doesn’t have to be a task done at the end of a hard working day.”
Since its launch NICEIC have worked continuously to improve and enhance the service for its customers, adding new updates daily. There is now an offline App for firms working in more remote areas that do not continually need to have internet access.
In addition contractors can now access a range of different certificates including Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting. They can also add company logos at the simple press of a button for the complete professional look.
NICEIC is also busy working on an android version of the app which is currently only available to iPad users. The new android version is expected to launch in the next few months.
