THE WIRE 2020 AND BEYOND…..
As 2020 comes to a close, the WIRE, NICEIC and ELECSA’s in-depth technical webinar series, achieves viewing numbers in excess of 20,000
As the year draws to a close the WIRE, the in-depth technical webinar series from the NICEIC and ELECSA, has reached a milestone as viewing numbers top an impressive 20,000 in just eight months.
Broadcasting twenty-two episodes to date, the series, which is free and exclusive to NICEIC and ELECSA registrants, has covered pertinent topics such as Fault Finding Techniques, SPDs, Earthing and Bonding and much more. Delivering over fifteen hours of CPD approved technical guidance; the WIRE has proved a hit with contractors looking to update their skills remotely.
“We are absolutely delighted with the success of the 2020 programme of the WIRE,” said Michaela Keates, NICEIC and ELECSA, Events and Marketing Manager.
“When COVID-19 struck, we quickly identified the need to keep our finger on the pulse when it came to helping our customers maintain standards and deliver technical excellence.
“As face-to-face events were stopped the WIRE provided the perfect platform allowing us to deliver vital CPD training remotely.
“It seems to have struck a chord and has proven to be a much-loved resource for our customers. As such, I am very pleased to announce new 2021 dates.”
Kicking off on January 13 at 8pm the series will continue to feature the popular EICR coding clinics which will run alongside a new mini-series dedicated to Inspection and Testing. For more details and to secure your space, please visit the online events section of the NICEIC website
Paul Collins, NICEIC and ELECSA, Technical Services Manager added
“The introduction of Electrotechnical Assessment Specification update in 2020 will bring continuous professional development into sharper focus as we move into 2021.
“Under these new requirements, those registered with a certification body will be required to document evidence of their CPD as part of scheme requirements.
“Committed to helping our customers achieve this standard, we will continue to develop exclusive material to ensure NICEIC and ELECSA contractors remain at the forefront of the industry.”
