Can't find your contractor?

The most likely reasons are:

  • The company is not registered with the NICEIC. If they claim they are please report them.
  • Registered businesses are listed with a single address. The company you are looking for may have multiple locations and the local office you are looking for may not be shown.
  • Try searching again with different spellings.

What type of company am I looking for?

  • Approved Contractors

    NICEIC Approved Contractors are assessed to the highest standards covering all types of electrical contractors and installations.

  • Certifier of Construction - Scotland (electrical installations)

    NICEIC operates the Certifier of Construction - Scotland scheme for domestic electrical contractors completing work requiring building warrant.

  • Competent Person Scheme

    Contractors registered with the CPS (Competent Persons Scheme) are assessed against the requirements of the Building Regulations as competent in their particular field, they have the facility to notify completed work through us direct to your local authority.

  • Domestic Installer

    Domestic Installers are contractors who do electrical installation work in domestic properties. Use a Domestic Installer to comply with the requirements of Part P.

  • Hazardous Areas

    Our Hazardous Area Contractors will have been assessed as competent and holding the relevant qualifications to undertake work in specific locations, including petrol filling stations.

  • Microgeneration Certification (MCS)

    MCS Contractors have been certified to Renewable Energy Installation standards for the technologies detailed on their registration. These technologies include solar panels and heat pumps for low carbon heat and power solutions.

  • PAS 2030

    Contractors on this scheme have been assessed and certified as competent to install energy efficiency measures detailed on their PAS 2030 registration.

    Regular portable appliance testing (PAT) supports organisations to meet their obligations under health & safety regulations.
